What was your previous role?
Investment administration supervisor with Lindsays, an Edinburgh law firm which had a large private client investment practice.

Why did you decide to join Nucleus?
The opportunity to join a growing company which is leading the way in creating a fairer market place for the private investor.

What are you trying to achieve in your role with Nucleus?
Helping IFAs to deliver the best service to their clients.

Which historical figure do you most admire and why?
Alexander the Great – he managed to achieve quite a lot during his short life.

What is your favourite journey?
The mountain road from Loja to Iznajar in central Andalucia. Stop off for a beer and tapas at Pepe’s Taverna then enjoy the amazing views of Lake Iznajar as the road winds down the far side of the mountain.

What’s the best concert that you’ve attended?
Alice Cooper – I’ve never seen so much (fake) blood.

What super-power would you most like to have, and why?
To travel back through time and find a safe place to watch the great moments of history as they happen.

If you were to have dinner with three people who would they be?
Brian Clough, Keith Richards and H G Wells. There should be some interesting chat after the wine kicks in.
