Where were you working before you joined Nucleus and what was your role?
For LeadX.com in Manchester as the IT infrastructure and network operations manager.

Why did you decide to join Nucleus?
I was looking for an opportunity to move back to Scotland and after reading about Nucleus and speaking to Andrew Smith I realised the position here was a very close match to what I was looking for.

What are you trying to achieve in your role with Nucleus?
To provide the technology that allows Nucleus to continue growing and operating efficiently.

Which historical figure do you most admire and why?
I can’t settle on one person, it’s everyone who has left the world a better place than they found it.

What is your favourite journey?
Anywhere with trees and hills, away from busy cities.

What’s the best concert that you’ve attended?
I’m not really a concert person, I prefer sporting events and seeing Queen of the South in the Scottish Cup final in 2008 definitely tops that list.

What super-power would you most like to have, and why?
Technopathy.

If you were to have dinner with three people who would they be?
Bill Gates (not just for his obvious techy side but for his Gates Foundation work); Neil Gaiman; and Ian McGeechan.  All people who clearly enjoy what they do and who are highly respected in their fields.
