What was your previous role?
I worked in the Specialist dealing department of Bank of New York Mellon. I worked in a small team responsible for all dealing placed in the Prime rate capital management money market funds.

Why did you decide to join Nucleus?
I wanted to join a company where I could make more of a difference to clients and Nucleus fit that perfectly. Moving from working in larger companies where most staff felt like a cog in a machine to a place like Nucleus was something I felt was a great opportunity.

What are you trying to achieve in your role with Nucleus?
To help Nucleus continue to provide an excellent level of service to clients and excel within a company making real changes to the industry.

Which historical figure do you most admire and why?
Martin Luther King Jr. A great man who was a beacon of hope for millions of people and one of the greatest speakers the world has ever seen. The way in which he was able to affect real change in the face of violence, without responding in kind, is truly inspirational.

What is your favourite journey?
Edinburgh to Dundee, 16 May 2010. Knowing I was away to watch Dundee United parade the Scottish Cup in the city square was an utterly fantastic feeling.

What’s the best concert that you’ve attended?
Not a concert as such, but I’m a huge fan of Best of the Fest during the Edinburgh Festival. So I’ll go with that!

What super-power would you most like to have, and why?
Flight. Superman looks like he’s having a great time.

If you were to have dinner with three people who would they be?
Clint Eastwood, Dennis Bergkamp and Otis Redding.
