Where were you working before you joined Nucleus and what was your role?
Life Association of Scotland and Britannia.

Why did you decide to join Nucleus?
Philip’s enthusiasm.

What are you trying to achieve in your role with Nucleus?
Having watched Nucleus grow into something major over the past year, knowing I have participated in this in a small way, is very gratifying. Continuing to help the company grow and continuing to enjoy working here is what I’m after.

Which historical figure do you most admire and why?
Nelson Mandela – very impressed that this man has been through so much and achieved so much in his lifetime and still has a twinkle in his eye at 90.

What is your favourite journey?
Driving through the Borders with my girls on our way to pick up our puppy.

What’s the best concert that you’ve attended?
Wham! Edinburgh Playhouse, 1983.

What super-power would you most like to have, and why?
Flying would be handy.

If you were to have dinner with three people who would they be?
George Clooney, Jonathan Ross and Tony Benn.
